Why should I become a LaxFitter?

Coach Nick Martino of the University of Mary Washington developed what has become the premiere transition camp for college bound lacrosse players. Nick is not only a great player but a student of the game and has developed a philosophy for teaching that has been the recipe for his success. Nick has specifically developed his curriculum so that it focuses on how a college bound lacrosse athlete should develop in order to compete at the college professional level. Additionally, Nick takes more than a year to develop his camp staff and bases his selections on players who are exceptional at teaching the game. The curriculum includes drills, teaching, specialized position work and as always hard work. If that's not enough to answer your question, the other awesome element of camp is the combination of incredible facilities and great giveaways.

Is LaxFit only for college-bound players?

No, we have programs set up for all levels of players. Our Rising Stars camp would best fit any player that does not meet the requirements for the College Bound or College Bound Elite sessions. What is different about our CB and CB Elite camps is mostly the intensity of teaching and the tempo of drills. Because the tempo is higher we can get to more aspects of lacrosse. But our techniques geared towards forging elite lacrosse players are the same whether we are coaching current college players or youth players. So you still get the same detailed training you have come to expect from our programs.

I'm an adult player, will I feel out of place signing up?

No Way!! Within our LaxFit framework, everyone will be concentrating so hard on their own strengths and weaknesses and the techniques we are teaching, that they will not have time to notice who is in the camp with them. There will be no body-contact at any of our sessions.
